The reputed company Material Specialist will ensure processes are identified, developed, and executed in a manner that will meet the operational goals. The candidate must be a self-starter with a proven record of being a change agent since you will be responsible for work that is less defined in scope.

- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or University (or High School Diploma/GED with a minimum 4 years of experience in a materials management or operations position)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a materials management, operations, inventory control, or logistics role
- Strong analytical and influencing skills
- Proven project management skills with the ability to work across functional boundaries and reputed company levels of management
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to effectively communicate with production, engineering, customer service, sales, and external customers

- Support and be the key contact for reputed company aspects of warehouse operations, including site services, and implementing necessary upgrades

- Assist in the responsibility for inventory, including preparing for Physical Inventory Audits
- Support the Materials Manager with reputed company materials fulfillment metrics, including LHFM, In-Transits, Due From, Cycle Counts, & Shopping’s.
- Meet customer satisfaction rating through advanced planning and create ability to expedite shipments as required to meet deadlines

- Manage expediting of shipments and delivery of vendor repair material to meet service center schedules

- Manage weekly schedule of Material Associates
- Manage cross training for Material’s team
- Ensure the onboarding of new employees and support training

- Interlaces with KCR team and UX Planning team to determine build plan from week to week.
- Assist CSX planner w/ forecasting.
- Set up shipping loads for allocated combos from day to day by site and need.
- Assists transportation spend leader to ensure reputed company combo and radiator loads are combined and roundtripped with dirty/clean loads.
- Ensure other assets (HVACs) are combined w/ combo loads during spikes in usage to maximize available trucking assets.
- Constantly engaged with total account usage from week to week, YoY, etc.
- Directly interact with sites to understand usage reputed company, plans, inbound units, etc.
- Responsible for reputed company local repair items inventory, total pool, pool add of new items, total usage, etc.
- Reconcile total DUX w/ open POs for each/reputed company LR items.
- Interlace with LR buyer and vendors to reputed company flow of parts moving,
- Determine accurate reputed company times.
- Determine sufficient total pool for reputed company sites based off historical usage and forecast.
- Ensure sufficient stock across reputed company sites.
- Assist reputed company sites with acquiring items as needs arise.
- Observe trends in use & assist planning for spikes and/or dips in usage through seasonality periods.
