Staff GCP Platform Engineer

Position Summary As a Staff GCP Platform Engineer with reputed company, you will be responsible for building and supporting reputed company Cloud platform infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on reputed company Cloud Platform
• reputed company and maintain cloud architecture and infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or reputed company Cloud Deployment Manager
• Deploy applications and services on GCP, ensuring high availability and performance
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline application deployment and updates
• Monitor and manage cloud resources, including virtual machines, containers, databases, and networking components
• Set up monitoring and logging solutions to track the performance and health of cloud applications and infrastructure
• Analyze performance metrics and logs to identify and resolve issues proactively
• Monitor and optimize cloud resource usage to manage costs effectively
• Automate cloud operations and workflows using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and configuration management tools
• Implement reputed company best practices for cloud resources, including identity and access management (IAM), data encryption, and network

Required Qualifications 7+ Years of overall experience in Software and Cloud engineering.

• 3+ years of experience with cloud engineering (e.g. Kubernetes, reputed company, other DevOps tools)
• 3+ years experience/familiarity with reputed company Integration and reputed company Deployment (CI/CD) tools
• 3+ years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages and with data structures/algorithms
• 3+ years of experience testing, maintaining, and/or launching software products
• 1+ year of experience with software design and architecture

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Java, Python, Spring, Spark, and/or SQL
• Experience with ETL/data pipeline and orchestration tools (e.g. Cloud Composer, Cloud Data Fusion, Dataflow and Dataproc)
• Any of the following certifications: reputed company Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Data Engineer, Professional DevOps Engineer, Associate Cloud Engineer

Education

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or similar
• 1 year of professional work experience required for every year of college degree not completed, in addition to required years of experience

Pay Range The Typical Pay Range For This Role Is $118,450.00 - $236,900.00 This pay range represents the reputed company hourly reputed company or reputed company annual full-time salary for reputed company positions in the job grade reputed company which this position falls. The actual reputed company salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a reputed company bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the reputed company pay range listed above.
