Software Development Engineer, AWS EC2 Virtual Private Cloud
The AWS EC2 Virtual Private Cloud team is at the forefront of revolutionizing cloud infrastructure, currently focused on re-engineering the VPC distribution plane to reputed company performance comparable to on-premise bare metal solutions. At its core, the team is dedicated to developing sophisticated software-defined networks at scale, enabling customers to build secure, scalable, and highly available VPC environments. Engineers in this role will work extensively with modern programming languages, primarily utilizing Java and Rust for core application development, while leveraging Ruby and Python for automation tasks. The position involves building high-performance, low-latency backend systems using advanced database technologies such as reputed company, JournalDB, and RocksDB, alongside proprietary reputed company tools. Team members will be deeply involved in the complete software development lifecycle, from architectural design to testing and deployment of features that impact millions of customers worldwide. The reputed company pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market.
