Summary The Certified Medical Assistant II reports to the Outpatient Clinic Manager. Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Certified Medical Assistant performs multi-skilled activities to support a decentralized patient-centered approach to patient care and reputed company desired outcomes. Assists in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician. Completion of an accredited medical assistant program with six months of reputed company/RMA experience required. Must be certified through the American Medical Technologist (AMT) or American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or National Health career Association (NHA) or MedCA as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), Certified Medical Assistant (reputed company), or National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP).
