Join Our Team at Tallahassee State College Pre-Release Employment Navigator Tallahassee State College is thrilled to announce a full-time grant-funded opening for the position of Pre-Release Employment Navigator with DOC-East/West Coast We are looking for someone who shares our commitment to fostering a vibrant workplace community. What You?ll Do As a Pre-Release Employment Navigator, you will report to the lead educator or Assistant Warden and play a key role in delivering services through cell-front and/or congregate settings. The services provided shall include: ? Provides in-person and virtual facilitation of workshops and training relative to employability and life skills. ? Provides administration and interpretation of assessments. ? Maintains and provides documentation of services delivered. ? Facilitates pre-release connections with community providers and employers through face-to-face and technology-based interactions to include pre-release job search, recruitment, and placement activities. Who We?re Looking For We?re seeking a candidate who brings not only technical expertise but also a passion for education and student success. Our ideal candidate will have: ? An associate?s degree from an accredited college or university or a high school diploma, and Two (2) years of professional experience in the workforce development, social services or corrections field. ? Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry. ? Preference given to candidates with an associate?s degree and one year of experience in the social services or corrections field.
