Must have graduated from an accredited program and have a certification from a Emergency Medical Technician training program. Candidates must also have current BLS. Must be naturally passionate about customer service and have professional people skills. Teamwork and training are important. Personality type must be such that you can work exceptionally as part of a fast-moving, hard-working medical team. The EMT must be able to work calmly under pressure at all times, drawing from personal experience and professionalism to achieve that characteristic.
