Electrical Apprentice/Trainee

About the position Georgia-Pacific's Oriented Strand Board (OSB) plant in Hosford, FL is seeking an Electrical Apprentice/Trainee. This apprenticeship offers a starting pay of $18 to $22 per hour during initial training, with the potential to earn at least $24 per hour upon qualification. Program, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical equipment and systems. , ? Read assembly drawings, schematics, and equipment layouts. , ? Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electronic circuits and control devices. , ? Understand and use data to improve productivity. , ? Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures. , ? Assist crew members and work in a team environment. , ? Correctly choose and wear personal protection equipment (PPE). Requirements ? Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an Associate's Degree in Electrical or Electromechanical with an accredited technical or college electrical program. , ? Experience reading technical drawings and schematics. Nice-to-haves ? Recent graduate of an accredited technical or college electrical program. , ? Experience working in a lumber or wood products facility. , ? Experience operating and/or troubleshooting industrial equipment. , ? Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
