The ideal candidate will have a strong background in meal preparation and food safety, with experience in both fine dining and catering environments. This role is essential in delivering high-quality meals that meet our standards for taste and presentation while ensuring a safe and efficient kitchen operation. Responsibilities ? Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to recipes and menu specifications. ? Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety and handling regulations. ? Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients. ? Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items. ? Collaborate with dietary aides to accommodate special dietary needs of guests. ? Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. ? Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety standards. Skills ? Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or fine dining setting. ? Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, meal preparation, and food presentation. ? Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. ? Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. ? Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team environment. ?
