CMT Field Engineer (Salary + OT Paid)

NOVA Engineering is seeking a CMT Field Engineer to work on Construction Materials Testing & Special Inspection projects throughout the Tallahassee, FL metropolitan area. This is a Salaried + Overtime Paid position with the opportunity to work on some of the most prestigious projects in the southeastern U.S. with much room for career advancement. Primary responsibilities will include: ? Staff/project engineering duties including data reduction, analysis & fieldwork for commercial, industrial, retail, government, office and residential projects (Construction Materials Testing/Inspection and some geotechnical engineering) ? Assisting with project management & reporting ? Field inspection, sampling & testing of soils/foundations, concrete, masonry, reinforcing steel, etc. ? Report preparation ? Client consultation and maintenance ? Providing assistance to other NOVA team members to promote the overall objectives of the company. The preferred candidate will have: ? B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Enginering, Architectural Engineering (or similar engineering degree) is required ? Entry-level graduates are urged to apply ? Any experience in construction testing/inspections of soil, concrete, masonry, and/or asphalt materials is preferred. ? Engineer-in-Training (EIT) license is required (or ability to obtain reputed company 3 months) ? Strong communication skills ?
