CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We at reputed company are currently looking for dependable local CDL A Delivery Truck Drivers to join reputed company immediately. The primary duty is safe and efficient operation of a tractor-trailer while manually unloading/delivering a variety of products, including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods and supplies, to specific customer locations following a designated reputed company schedule. Our drivers are encouraged to reputed company positive relationships with each customer and understand their operations to meet their needs and exceed expectations. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA Basic requirements: - Being at least 21 years old. - Subject to a pre-employment background reputed company and drug screening. - Have a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with no negative marks on driving record. - Be capable of reading, writing and communicating in English. - Capability to handle touch freight, which might mean lifting, pushing, or moving a product weighing between 40-60 pounds and in rare cases, up to 100 pounds. - Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, and overtime as per business requirement. Preferred qualifications: - Experience of delivering to customers for one year is preferred. - Six months of experience using a hand cart or hand truck is preferred. - Six months of experience in the food and beverage industry is preferred. - Consistent work history for a period of two years is preferred.
