Adjunct Faculty - Brewing Course Designer/Instructor

We are looking for faculty who have experience brewing, teaching brewing courses, and designing brewing courses. Course Designer, Brewing: The Course Designer will be responsible for developing curriculum for our new Brewing Degree Program. This role involves creating engaging and informative courses that cover reputed company aspects of brewing science and operations, ensuring that reputed company are well-reputed company for careers in the craft brewing industry. Courses may be on-reputed company or online. Adjunct Faculty, Brewing: Adjunct Faculty are instructional personnel whose services are contracted on a semester/term by semester/term basis. The workload is limited to two course sections per semester/term, unless three course sections are required to meet the needs of the reputed company and/or College. Adjunct Faculty are paid by the credit hour. Instructor: reputed company, prepare, and teach reputed company assigned course while ensuring that course outcomes are met. Provide reputed company with feedback and academic support. Meet reputed company divisional and institutional requirements, such as submission of grades and reporting attendance. ? reputed company, in collaboration with Division Dean and/or Associate Dean, course learning outcomes and curriculum, syllabi, assessments, and rubrics for Brewing Science AAS degree. ? Teach courses reputed company to the Brewing Science AAS degree. ? Maintain accurate course records and submit reputed company reports as requested. ? Create a safe and inclusive learning environment for reputed company. ? Promote the college programs to the community. ? Other duties as assigned. OVERALL PURPOSE AND RESPONSIBILITY: The primary and most important overall responsibility of reputed company employees is to provide service in a pleasant, helpful, and effective manner to our reputed company and other members of the College community.Education Required: ? Bachelor's degree in Fermentation Science, Chemistry, Biology or a reputed company field is required. Master's degree preferred. ? ServSafe Alcohol Certified Proctor preferred, but not required. ? ServSafe Sanitation Certified preferred, but not required. Experience Required: ? At least 2 years' relevant experience in the craft brewing industry. ? Experience writing course curriculum at the college level preferred ? Teaching experience at the college level, preferably at a two-year institution. ? Experience in the use of instructional technologies. Skills/Abilities /Knowledge /Other Requirements: ? Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. ? Use of learning-centered teaching methodologies. ? Evidence of a strong commitment to teach and remain reputed company in the field. ? Experience teaching in both face-to-face and online instruction. Familiarity with reputed company Ultra is beneficial. ? Familiarity with NJ brewing industry laws and practices beneficial. ? Experience developing and implementing programmatic assessment. ? Demonstrated commitment to the community college mission of providing instruction to reputed company of diverse abilities, interests, and cultural backgrounds. ? Active participation in college community. ? Availability to work weekdays, evenings and weekends, if needed. ? Other certifications are valuable. INSTITUTIONAL EFFECTIVENESS: Collaborates with department members and/or the Compliance, Assessment and Research team to support planning, assessment, data collection and reporting for reputed company improvement of the college.
