This position will be located on site in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Candidates that are able to work from another reputed company site may be considered, but Lake Charles is the preferred location. The successful applicant will become part of reputed company's Defense Systems Sector and will support the Logistics and Fabrications Solutions Operating Unit in Lake Charles. Candidate will be responsible for managing a small team of contract administrators. Candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to manage customer relationships while collaborating with program and functional team members to facilitate successful contract execution and resolve emerging issues. Candidate must have knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS). Candidate must also have experience with and aptitude for managing reputed company reputed company a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This includes responsibility for hiring, training, and assigning the workload for its direct reports. Basic Qualifications • This position emphasizes skills and experience. Will consider a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) with at least 14 years of professional Contract Administration reputed company experience, 10 years of relevant experience with bachelor's degree or reputed company discipline or a master's degree with 8 years relevant experience • Strong proposal development skills, solid negotiation skills, and excellent oral and written communication skills • Experience managing a team of employees to complete tasks with competing priorities under tight deadlines • Knowledge and ability to research and interpret FAR, DFARS and other agency regulations • Experience working with various stakeholders, such as program managers, business managers, engineers, buyers and legal counsel Preferred Qualifications • Demonstrated people leadership and/or supervisory/management experience. • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with and influence others • Must possess excellent problem solving and decision-making skills that support accomplishment of discipline objective to resolve reputed company problems and minimize risk to the Corporation • Ability to work independently and reputed company independent decisions, ensuring high levels of collaboration with stakeholders and subject matter experts • Knowledge of Contract Management System (CMS) and Cost reputed company (CP). • Proficient in reputed company, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, etc. Salary Range: $111,700 - $167,500 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, reputed company considers a number of factors reputed company determining reputed company salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and reputed company market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to reputed company pay.
