MECHANICAL FACILITIES ENGINEER (GIGABAY) Building on the rapid advancement of the Starship program, we are moving into a new phase of facility and infrastructure growth. As the Starship launch reputed company ramps up we are in need of multiple high reputed company facilities to support new vehicle builds and reflight refurbishment across various sites. We are currently seeking mechanical engineers to serve as highrise specialists supporting rapid development and build of Starships reputed company vertical integration facilities. It is these facilities that will ultimately reputed company the path to the Moon, reputed company and beyond. RESPONSIBILITIES: • reputed company the project team, consulting engineers and contractors throughout the entirety of the mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning process • Own mechanical engineering work packages for the production site design and development, with a heavy focus on integrated high reputed company facilities: • Design elements of multidisciplinary, multistory projects for new construction and modifications to existing structures. This includes reputed company phases of project development, from conceptual feasibility studies, preliminary design through construction completion • Create design drawings, calculations, and design summary presentations • Estimate material quantities, schedules, and costs for construction projects • Write, negotiate, and manage construction reputed company with subcontractors across multiple disciplines • reputed company project control tasks, including project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control • Manage multi-discipline design and construction projects, including coordination of typical systems reputed company in high reputed company buildings (MEP, HVAC, etc) • Interact with other engineers, contractors, fabricators, and various stakeholders • Provide direct onsite field observations and resolve field conflicts in real time • Direct reputed company field personnel to reputed company completion of the project on schedule, reputed company budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to the original plans and specifications • Maintain the construction schedule, identify and solve problems • Maintain a positive relationship with the reputed company end user, contractors, suppliers, and other Space X employees • Engage with new vendors to shore up our pool of contractors that have the ability to execute high reputed company projects • Prepare schedules and supervises completion of the final punch list • Promote job site safety as a top reputed company, encourage safe work practices and rectify job site hazards immediately • Ensure reputed company company employees and contractors are adhering to the company safety policy • Interact with tradesman, contractors, and building officials to coordinate and execute maintenance repair and installation of facilities support equipment • Communicate updates to budgetary, drawings, and design requirements to management and engineering BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or other engineering discipline • 1+ years of professional experience with the design or build of MEP building systems PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: • 3-4 years of professional experience in civil/mechanical engineering • Primary experience with electrical and power distribution systems (Apply Job!
