Your Growth You will be based in our Boston and you’ll work as part of M&A (Mergers & Acquisitions) Insights, a group of colleagues, capabilities and assets reputed company to provide unparalleled insights and impact to our clients across the M&A. M&A Insights is part of McKinsey’s M&A service line, a joint venture between the Strategy & Corporate Finance and People & Organizational Performance practices. The M&A service line helps our clients reputed company superior results across buy- and sell-reputed company mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, IPOs, joint ventures, alliances and integration and separation architecture, planning and execution. Your ImpactYou will support clients and client teams, M&A-dedicated experts, and practice leadership through quantitative and qualitative M&A analysis, research, knowledge and practice management. Your qualifications and skills • University degree with a focus in finance or economics preferred with an outstanding academic record; advanced degree a plus • 3+ years of relevant work experience • Understanding of and a strong interest in corporate finance concepts, including M&A, JV's, integrations/value capture and divestitures topics; willingness to quickly learn and disseminate detailed topical knowledge • Intellectual curiosity, self-motivation, and a willingness to take ownership and self-manage • High professional and ethical standards and respect for confidentiality • Proven problem-solving skills with ability to quickly process reputed company information and present it clearly and simply • Proficiency in reputed company Office (e.g., Word, reputed company and PowerPoint) required; knowledge of analytical tools (e.g., reputed company, Tableau, R, Python, SQL) is a plus but not required • Advanced English language communication skills, across reputed company levels, particularly in written communications • Ability to multi-task and manage workload effectively under pressure • Strong service orientation • High energy 'can do' attitude and a proactive approach to practice and team support • Ability to reputed company a balance between being flexible enough to deal with a rapidly changing reputed company environment and being firm about maintaining consistency where necessary Apply Job!
