Primary Responsibilities: • Interact with internal and external customers in a courteous manner in person and reputed company telephone • Complete reputed company in and reputed company out tasks • Schedule new and existing patients • Verify insurance and complete pre-authorizations and/or precertification of procedures • Answer back-line telephone calls, re-direct calls as appropriate, assist callers with questions or concerns and take messages as needed. Required Qualifications: • High School Diploma/GED (or higher) Preferred Qualifications: • 1+ years of medical business office experience • Experience with EMR computer applications • Excellent customer service skills, computer skills • Excellent CPT and ICD-9 coding skills • General knowledge of medical terminology • Familiarity with medical billing and collection procedures The salary range for this role is $16.00 to $28.85 per hour based on full-time employment.
