Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Contribute and lead in the ideation, development, and commercialization of innovative solutions for the aerospace industry • Drive innovation by identifying new technologies and end-user needs that impact our business • Propose and develop new research projects with a view to eventual end-use offerings • Document research work and contribute to patent applications • Evaluate emerging technologies for their applicability to current and future projects • Support the transfer of technology from R&D to commercialization teams • Identify, assess, and mitigate technical and project-related risks U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS: Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S. YOU MUST HAVE: • Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, engineering, technology, or mathematics and 4+ years of experience leading research projects, either in academia or industry WE VALUE: • Bachelor's in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Optics, or related fields or Doctoral degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Optics, or related fields • Proven track record of technical project leadership and project management • Demonstrated technical creativity in the development of new technologies and technical solutions • Experience with development of both software and hardware • Experience with development of display and vision systems • Demonstrated ability to drive technology commercialization • Passion for innovation, experimentation, and continuous development • Broad technical experiences with the ability to easily transition between technology areas • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills THE BUSINESS UNIT: Honeywell Aerospace Technologies (AT) products and services are found on virtually every commercial, defense, and space aircraft in the world.
