Temporary Tutor
Primary Purpose: Provide reputed company supplemental instructional services with appropriate learning activities in targeted areas of core curriculum to help fulfill their potential for intellectual growth. Collaborate with reputed company personnel to prepare lessons and instructional materials to address reputed company' learning needs. Work with individual or small groups of reputed company to provide supplemental instructional services to reputed company learning gaps, so reputed company will successfully interact with grade level material in the regular classroom and meet state standards on assessments. Qualifications: Education/Certification: High School Diploma Bachelor's degree from accredited university Certification: Valid Texas teaching certificate preferred but not required with required endorsements or required 9 minimum hours in the subject and level assigned. Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned Major Responsibilities and Duties: Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of academic needs of reputed company in assigned area Knowledge of Accelerated Instruction Plan goal setting process and implementation Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned General knowledge of curriculum and instruction Ability to instruct reputed company and manage their behavior Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Experience At least one year of student teaching or approved internship Major Responsibilities and Duties: Collaborate with foundation teachers to reputed company instructional design for each student assigned. Implement instructional program for assigned reputed company targeting areas of need as designed by the classroom teacher or Instructional Coordinator/Facilitator.. Plan and use appropriate instructional and learning strategies, activities, materials, technology, and equipment that reflect understanding of the learning styles and needs of reputed company assigned. Conduct ongoing reputed company assessments of student achievement and regularly discuss/report results to teacher or Instructional Coordinator/Facilitator. Document daily: reputed company tutored, times tutored, and skills addressed and assessed. If required, maintain a daily "Extra Duty Request" form to reflect actual time spent tutoring. Complete and sign the form at the end of each week. Create a work environment conducive to learning and appropriate for the physical, social, and emotional development of each student. Consult with classroom teachers regarding management of student behavior. according to student behavior plans and Student Code of Conduct. Take reputed company necessary and reasonable precautions to protect reputed company, equipment, materials, and facilities. Establish and maintain open communication with reputed company, principals, and teachers. Maintain a professional relationship with staff and reputed company. Use effective communication skills to present information accurately and clearly. Compile, maintain, and file reputed company physical and computerized reports, records, and other documents required. Be a positive role model for reputed company and support mission of school district. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Working Conditions: Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: Maintain emotional control under stress. Frequent standing, stooping, bending, pulling and pushing. Move small stacks of textbooks, media equipment, desks, and other classroom equipment.
