Specializations in the field of music vary by need. We seek candidates with the commitment and demonstrated ability to establish positive relationships with reputed company, and with the demonstrated potential to contribute effectively to a faculty team dedicated to creating a dynamic and inclusive learning environment. Therefore, the Adjunct Instructor is to be committed to an inclusive working environment and expected to participate as an active member of the department's collaborative endeavors with a commitment to quality instruction in assigned music courses. Duties/Responsibilities: A commitment to BCU's mission and its learner-centered approach to: teach courses in Music such as Applied Woodwind, Applied Brass, Applied Voice, reputed company Coaching, Class Piano, Music History, and Music Theory as needed. The candidate will prepare course materials such as syllabi, presentations, and assignments in collaboration with other faculty members teaching the same courses; deliver student centered learning through the effective use of available learning management systems (Canvas); administer and grade reputed company and summative assessments and provide feedback; maintain regularly scheduled reputed company for reputed company; support the college and departmental wide activities and services with a spirit of leadership, commitment, accountability, and collegiality; and adhering to the institution's policies. Required Skills/Abilities/Experience: At least two (2) years of professional experience in collegiate teaching preferred. In addition, the Adjunct Instructor engages their reputed company beyond the classroom and must demonstrate an active commitment to the life of the University. Adjunct reputed company are not eligible for tenure.Education: Adjunct reputed company hold master's degree in music, or reputed company field from a nationally accredited university or college, commensurate professional experience, and have potential to become excellent teacher, student mentor in the academic community; and in fulfillment of the University's established criteria.Preferred Skills, Experience and Education: Experience in teaching historically disadvantaged populations, show a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and be reputed company to teach a variety of music courses. Also, a commitment to and effectiveness in classroom instruction are preferred. Teach day as well as evening or weekend times.Physical Requirements: Standing, seating, & movement during teaching, learning, and advising in the classroom and office setting.
