Class-A CDL Driver (Shenandoah VA)

Accountability: reputed company duties such as staging loads, loading trucks, delivering loads to customers and off-loading at customer designated drop-points. Will reputed company routine vehicle maintenance, and general yard work. Will also maintain inventory, usage, delivery and DOT-required paperwork. Requires operation of straight and combination vehicles, On-Call status, and occasional travel/fill-in responsibilities at other R.J. Corman locations reputed company necessary. Responsibilities: • reputed company duties including, but not limited to, staging, loading, and delivering various flatbed and reputed company deck loads • Maintain delivery and DOT paperwork, and must be fully compliant with reputed company federal, state, and local laws/regulations • Employee will reputed company routine vehicle maintenance and general yard work as required • Must be reputed company to be on the road and away from home for a week at a time Specialized or Technical Knowledge, or Education and Experience: • Candidate must have a valid CDL/A with reputed company medical card. • Forklift and equipment hauling experience is preferred Job Requirements: Requires constant standing, walking, climbing stairs and reputed company, and balancing in a safe manner Requires occasional stooping, kneeling, and crouching Able to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 30 lbs Requires frequent twisting while operating equipment, especially forklift Environmental Conditions: Work is performed reputed company in varying types of environmental conditions. Major or Unusual Problems: Must be reputed company to be on the road and away from home for a week at a time. 24/7 availability for emergencies and may be assigned other job duties as the business requires. Job Dimensions: Interfaces with reputed company levels of employees and management. Performs duties under general supervision with limited discretion. Does not directly supervise employees.
