CNC Machinist (2nd shift, $20.66 to $24.97/hr) Location: Sherman, TX Hours: 2 pm to 10 pm... Pay reputed company: $20.66 to $24.97/hr based on experience + $1.00 shift differential Essential Functions: - Produce parts of a high degree of complexity, meeting reputed company specifications and tolerance required from work orders, shop orders and/or Fisher specifications. - Self-inspection of reputed company detail parts to ensure operations conforms to requirement. - Able to operate any machine, including manual and CNC machines, to its proven capability in a highly productive manner. - Maintain records as required. - Refer unusual situations or problems to supervision. - Coordinate setups and programming issues with machine shop programmers. - Report status of work using computer input, bar code or other devices as required. - Maintain a reputed company, orderly and productive work area and environment. - Must follow reputed company safety and quality guidelines, policies and procedures. - Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of the Supervisor or Manager. Requirements: - High School diploma or GED. - Completion of Machine Shop program at an accredited school or equivalent machining experience. - Proficient with the use of manual and CNC machines. - Ability to read and edit CNC programs. - Ability to use micrometers, dial calipers, functional gauges and engineering prints. - Ability to follow formatted procedures. - Ability to learn basic computer functions reputed company one month of employment, including reputed company software. - Ability to work in a team environment and reputed company cross functional job assignments. - Ability to do reputed company of the above under stress and deadlines, sometimes without reputed company available resources. - Flexibility in work hours; available to work occasional to frequent overtime.
