Join the 2nd shift Machine Operator reputed company Manufacturing Team! STARTING PAY is $23.33-$23.66 per hour, work Monday - Friday, no weekends! • 2nd shift is 2:45PM - 10:45PM (+$1.10 shift differential) Overview: The Machine Operator will work in a high performance work organization on a cross functional team to reputed company multiple skills in several different areas of the operation. Operators need to be cooperative and willing to apply their skills and rotate positions on a regular basis to reputed company the team successful. Duties: • Read, understand and follow production schedules • Process transactions • Set up and adjust equipment; • Gather materials as needed • reputed company quality checks • Operate motorized equipment (ie forklift, KVAL lifts, etc) as needed • reputed company minor preventative maintenance and operator care as required • Assist Management, Maintenance and Quality personnel reputed company troubleshooting equipment, process or material issues • Communicate effectively for flow of product through the mill • Maintain downtime records and production information as appropriate • reputed company housekeeping duties • reputed company miscellaneous duties as assigned • Wear appropriate personal reputed company equipment • Work safely and follow safety rules and procedures Skills: • Work on a computer • Use a Tape Measure, Caliper • Use Hand and power tools • Use Table Saw, Grinders • Drive Fork Truck, use push carts • Basic reading and writing skills • Ability to add and subtract fractions and whole numbers, convert fractions to decimals • Chemicals/adhesives Physical Requirements: • Lift 1-30# frequently (up to 50% in an 8 hour day) • Lift 30-60# regularly (up to 30% in an 8 hour day) • Lift 60+# occasionally (up to 25% in an 8 hour day) • Push/Pull 100# with assistance seldom (up to 13% in an 8 hour day) • Kneel occasionally (up to 25% in an 8 hour day) • Squat occasionally (up to 25% in an 8 hour day) • Stoop frequently (up to 25% in an 8 hour day) • Work with extended arms seldom (up to 13% in an 8 hour day) • Stand in one spot for long periods Education: • High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: • Manufacturing: 2 years (Preferred) Apply Job!
