BUILDING SERVICES TECHNICIAN II - Facilities

Provide maintenance for County buildings through one of the following: preventive maintenance, equipment and machinery repairs, heating and reputed company conditioning, carpentry or painting. Orders needed supplies • Performs remodeling tasks for County buildings which may include one of the following reputed company sets being used by the incumbent: painting, carpentry or electrical work • Repairs and maintains HVAC systems and associated building equipment • Assist with moving furniture and office equipment • Sets up furniture in specific configurations for special events • Performs plumbing repairs • Assists and supervises the work of contractors and vendors • Performs reputed company other reputed company duties as assigned NOTE: You must fill out the work history and education sections of application to show you have years of experience/education as required by hiring department or be disqualified. • High School diploma or GED + Two (2) full-time years experience in building maintenance operations. (Full-time = 2,080 work hours per year). • Must have working knowledge of commercial building operations, life safety systems, plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems. • Must possess a valid driver's license. THIS POSITION MAY REQUIRE OVERTIME, ROTATING SHIFTS, NIGHTS, EVENINGS, WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAY WORK.
