About the position The Associate in Manufacturing & Supply Chain at McKinsey Implementation plays a crucial role in helping organizations achieve sustainable growth by providing end-to-end support in implementing McKinsey's recommended changes. This position involves working collaboratively with client project teams to build strategies, capabilities, systems, and processes that deliver measurable results. Associates will manage projects with minimal supervision, track metrics, conduct complex analyses, and prepare communications for both clients and internal leadership, all while fostering an inclusive environment. Responsibilities • Work collaboratively with client project teams to build strategies and capabilities needed for sustainable growth. , • Manage projects with minimal supervision, including tracking metrics and handling complex analyses. , • Prepare communications to report back to client and internal leadership. , • Develop practical recommendations and contribute to team discussions on analysis implications. , • Help clients overcome supply chain challenges and integrate solutions across their organization. Requirements • Bachelor's degree and/or master's degree. , • 8+ years of experience in supply chain management, including logistics strategy, network design, and supply chain optimization. , • Strong interest in coaching or mentoring clients. , • Proven problem-solving skills (quantitative, conceptual, analytical). , • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and create an inclusive environment. , • Comfort with ambiguous and ever-changing situations. , • Effective communication skills in English and local office languages. Nice-to-haves • Experience in targeted research programs focused on supply chain performance. , • Familiarity with various industries such as Aerospace & Defense, Automotive, and Life Sciences.
