About the position The Warehouse Loader position in Brownwood involves handling and loading products for shipment, ensuring proper placement to prevent damage, and maintaining equipment. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and involves operating forklifts to manage warehouse inventory effectively. Responsibilities Pick ware from warehouse location for shipment on LTL, common carrier, or Fleet transfer. , Load product into truck with correct placement to avoid breakage, damage or loss. , Receive A-1 ware from Packing Departments into warehouse locator system. , Receive and deliver materials from outside suppliers to respective departments or persons. , Keep equipment in good working condition and advise supervision when repairs or maintenance is necessary. , Practice good safety and housekeeping rules. , Perform daily cycle counts as directed by supervision. , Perform duties using either a stand up forklift or a sit-down forklift. , Perform all duties as assigned by supervision. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent desirable. , Forklift experience is required. , Must possess basic math skills to perform daily cycle count calculations. , Must possess basic computer skills. , Must be able to pass forklift training for stand up and sit-down forklifts to receive the necessary licensing to perform job duties.
