Mid Fullstack Dev

Zipdev is looking for a talented Full Stack Developer with 4 to 6 years of experience to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with expertise in SQL, JavaScript, and Rails/Ruby who is eager to contribute to a strategic initiative to modernize and streamline our technology stack. The selected candidate will be key in replacing legacy EHR integrations, improving operational efficiency, reducing integration dependencies, and supporting over 1,000 clients. Your work will directly impact the elimination of 40+ outdated integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance applications using Rails/Ruby and JavaScript.
• Understand, design and write complex SQL queries across different SQL dialects to support data migration, system integration, and application functionality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to replace legacy EHR integration technologies with modern solutions such as Rails and Golang within the existing portfolio.
• Ensure seamless integration with existing systems, reducing dependencies and streamlining operations.
• Optimize code for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in both legacy and modern systems.
• Document processes, code, and system configurations for future reference

Requirements

• 4 to 6 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript for back-end development
• Solid experience with Rails/Ruby frameworks for building robust and scalable integrations.
• Experience with system integrations, APIs, Screen Scraping, and data migration processes.
• Proficiency in SQL, with experience working with multiple SQL dialects and writing complex queries.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Currently living in Latin America.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in healthcare technology or similar regulated industries.
• Familiarity with legacy system modernization and migration projects.
• Proven track record of optimizing system performance and reducing operational costs.
