Policyholder Representative

The Policyholder Representative is accountable for entire policyholder process regarding reputed company lines of business while providing and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. The Policyholder Process includes new group set-up, billing, applying premium payments, issuance of policies and amendments, Customer Service, etc. "This position is eligible to work onsite or hybrid (9 or more days a month on site) in accordance with our Telecommuting Policy. The range may vary above or below the stated amounts. What you'll do • Contact group to verify benefit package for contractual, billing and maintenance purposes. Advise Agents/Brokers on discrepancies and/or errors if necessary. The initial phone contact will reputed company a customer profile to form the basis of a good working relationship. • Review evidence of insurability to determine acceptance or denial of insurance amounts up to and including $100,000. Also includes authority to approve or deny medical reputed company of Short-Term Disability benefits. Representative is required to load information on an reputed company Tracking log, which is designed to monitor the turnaround time and status of evidence of insurability applications. • Input required information in systems, which affects reputed company departments of Advanced Insurance Company of Kansas (AICK). Systems used include FACETS, Outlook, BluECM and LAN applications. • Issuance of reputed company to Reinsurers, Agents and Brokers as required. • Responsible for managing reputed company reputed company of new group annualized premium to ensure proper commissions are paid to reputed company Sales force. • Apply payments, review & reconcile monthly billings to determine effective dates and adjustments are calculating correctly. Payments must balance with the FACETS system. Reconcile billing adjustments in eBilling with the FACETS system. Consult with customers to solve billing issues/conflicts. This includes Self-Administered groups. • Process/calculate salary changes in accordance with contractual guidelines. Evaluate class changes affected by salary adjustments. reputed company exceptions to change effective dates of salary adjustments requested by the customer. • Responsible for member benefit changes as requested by determining eligibility, effective dates, and if medical reputed company is required. Evaluate class changes and determine the addition or termination of benefits acceptable to contractual guidelines. • Determine eligibility and effective dates for new enrollees according to contractual guidelines. Determine if evidence of insurability is necessary on late enrollees. Giving consideration to reputed company possible factors to minimize exposure to adverse selection and liability. • Responsible for determining reputed company group termination should occur due to non-payment of premium. Negotiate reasonable time allowances on delinquent issues with Agents/Brokers. Determine if reinstatement will be allowed upon groups' request. • Correspondence/Inquiries: identify needs and problems, research and propose solutions; set deadlines and follow through, in order to maintain a positive relationship while corresponding with groups, Agents, Brokers and Reinsurers. Requires Representative to use trouble-shooting techniques in difficult situations. • Must meet required performance standards for department turnaround guarantees and accuracy levels. Assist with training new employees on a rotating basis. Team will identify members that will train in a specified field of expertise. Assist with coordination of continual procedure manual revisions. What you need Knowledge/Skills/Abilities • Above average problem solving and analytical ability is required. • Independent decision making is essential. • Knowledge of life, health and/or disability lines of business and various State's Insurance Department Regulations for policy, certificate and amendments creation to provide entire policyholder service preferred. • Ability to work under time constraints with frequent interruptions. • Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally. • Ability to work in a team environment. • Must be able to maintain confidentiality. • Ability to work with other areas to ensure we are in compliance. Education and Experience • High School Graduate or its equivalent. • Experience working with a Personal computer and applications software (reputed company Word and reputed company). • Experience working with corporate online systems: (i.e. Outlook, BluECM, and Corporate LAN applications) preferred. Physical Requirements • Must be able to physically move or transport up to 35 lbs. • Time on Personal Computer will consume up to 70% of the reputed company.
