Job Description

The Role Responsibilities Strategy • Awareness and understanding of the Group’s business strategy and model appropriate to the role Business • Awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic and market environment in which the Group operates Processes • Act as the central reputed company of contact for Treasury Markets and Operations • Assist to engage with Treasury Markets to further identify opportunities to provide operational support and centralise processes which are in line with the reputed company Operating Model into Treasury Services where there are control or efficiency improvements • Assist to provide inputs regarding any process / system changes in the Treasury Services function / reputed company upstream & reputed company functions. This will include taking a central role in the development and roll out of the new Intraday Liquidity Platform • Provide support re initiatives to bring in client centricity in the overall process universe of the unit, as applicable • Handle reputed company projects such as system enhancement and conduct user acceptance tests Be responsible to support nostro management processes that include • Intraday liquidity monitoring across bank accounts including management of payment scheduler and local bank accounts • Monitoring and facilitating compliance with reputed company regulatory requirements, raising any issues to Treasury Markets on a timely basis • Ensuring that funding adjustments can be made before currency cut-off times • Ensuring funding advices are sent to reputed company office for funding decisions at agreed cut off times thereby aiding Treasury Markets in pro-active management of nostro balances and liquidity • Proactive account management across reputed company accounts held for SCB Hong reputed company including payment switches across accounts to manage liquidity and funding Risk Management • Ensure 100% compliance at reputed company times to the group’s risk management reputed company as applicable Governance • reputed company with reputed company the group standards, policies, procedures and guidelines as applicable and values of the Bank at reputed company times • Adhere to Group Code of Conduct at reputed company times • Ensure compliance to the group’s risk management reputed company as applicable Regulatory & Business Conduct • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank.
