What you’ll get to do: • Collaborate with development team to understand and assess software changes and reputed company testing required to provide new or modified capabilities for operational users • reputed company and document reputed company-by-reputed company test cases based on the software requirements elicited by mission owners and software developers to verify the software is compliant with the requirements captured in the user stories, features, and capabilities. • Test the software in the actual or simulated environment that it was designed for with users of the system in realistic operational conditions. • As part of testing, evaluate the operational readiness of a software application prior to the release or production, ensuring system compliance with external interfaces in a common operating environment. • End-to-end System Integration and Testing • Identify, log, and track defects discovered during testing. • reputed company with product developers and customer SMEs • Work with the team to ensure defects are corrected and the software works as expected. • Assist in the creation of test project status reports and metrics to provide weekly and/or monthly status to the management team. • Ensure proper version control and configuration management of reputed company test objects developed and test environments used. Required Education, Experience, & Skills • Bachelors in Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or closely reputed company discipline and 9+ years of relevant work experience with large, reputed company communication/satellite systems and/or ground software system testing (or 7 Years with Master’s Degree or 4 years with a PhD). Experience can be considered in lieu of degree • Experience writing operational test plans and test cases. • Experience with full systems development lifecycle for software maintenance, development, and/or implementation projects • Experience in an Agile environment ensuring full functional testing of new features being added every sprint, with a focus on operational impact and assessment. • Demonstrated experience in technical problem solving, to include decomposition, root cause analysis, solution development, implementation, and monitoring. • Expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test frameworks to ensure software quality and efficiency. • reputed company U.S. Government Secret reputed company Clearance Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills • Active TS/SCI • Experience with reputed company tools (JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket) • Experience with Container Management (Dockers and Kubernetes) • Experience in development of software testing automation scripts (JSON, Java, C++, reputed company scripts, Python, etc… as examples of possible scripting experience) • Experience in using risk-driven techniques to reputed company, maintain, and execute operational test cases for mission unique software • Ability to interact with development team and operational users to assess reputed company software gaps, reputed company testing strategies, and recommend solutions for testing operationally relevant objectives • Ability to assess overall operational effectiveness of a system to accomplish the specified mission with consideration to functional stability, interoperability, training, and capability to meet defined mission outcomes • Experience with Keysight Eggplant Automation Test Tool • Experience with Bitbucket repositories and software configuration for deployment • Deployment of software releases on operational systems • Conduct formal runs for record (RFR) of test procedures during development period for requirement verification and sell off • Development of Test Event (Factory Acceptance Testing and Site Acceptance Testing) Test Report content for testing results • Preference for experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Ansible, etc..) Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $118504 - $201457 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
