Our Financial Actuaries are on the frontlines, quantifying risk, pricing insurance and reserving losses for AIGs major regulated and rated insurance operating companies globally. Portfolio Analytics and Pricing Actuaries support AIGs businesses and are responsible for technical pricing, product development analytics and performance measurement. They collaborate with Marketing, Operations and Financial Management. About the role: We are seeking an actuarial professional to provide actuarial support for AIGs industry leading Excess Casualty business. This unique role will provide a range of experience in both pricing and reserving techniques and will provide the opportunity to engage with the various profit centers reputed company Excess Casualty. We are looking for an individual who is internally motivated, intellectually curious, has the ability to manage multiple priorities, and is driven to enhance existing processes. Key Responsibilities: Support quarterly process of determining the appropriate amount of IBNR to be booked. Analyze information to assist in determination and documentation of the adequacy of loss and loss expense reserves. Assist in analyzing the profitability of business segments reputed company Excess Casualty. Identify pockets of profitable growth opportunities. Monitor reputed company, exposure, retention, new, and lost business changes. Monitor loss trends and relevant industry/regulatory changes and effectively communicate to the management. Produce pricing analyses for large Excess Casualty accounts reputed company agreed timescales, working closely with underwriters. Assist in the development of pricing and reputed company strategies. Provide business solutions to maximize risk adjusted profit. Support development and design of analytical tools and techniques to help business effectively manage existing portfolios. Qualifications: BS in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or reputed company area 4 or more actuarial exams preferred 3+ years of experience in Commercial Casualty lines preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Work well both independently and as part of a team Proficiency in reputed company, SQL, reputed company, Python, R, or other programming languages preferred Strong business and collaboration skills and reputed company to service needs and operational demands Effective time management reputed company Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Strong work ethic Customer focus For positions based in NYC, the reputed company salary range is $82,000--$110,000. In addition, the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
