Quality Assurance Tester KAI Partners is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Tester. This role is responsible for conducting analyses and quality tests for software programs and development. This role calls for teamwork to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle by performing evaluations, troubleshooting, and developing documentation in alignment with the industry’s best practices Responsibilities: Reasonable accommodation may be provided to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: • Manage employee-related activities to ensure tasks are accurately and promptly completed, providing oversight and guidance to meet organizational goals. • Oversee and maintain all aspects of an approved QA plan by establishing clear metrics to measure performance, applying industry best practices to enhance quality assurance processes, and developing innovative tools and methodologies to ensure quality objectives are consistently achieved. • Ensure proper system configuration management by monitoring the setup and maintenance of testing tools, system environments, and schedules for executing appropriate test scenarios, ensuring smooth operations and accurate testing outcomes. • Review and analyze QA metrics across various project areas, including application development, operations, implementation, technology, and data conversion, to identify trends, evaluate performance, and recommend improvements for quality assurance practices. • Conduct thorough audits to verify that all project areas adhere to the approved QA process, ensuring compliance with established standards and identifying areas requiring corrective actions or enhancements. • Identify, document, and report findings, including issues and risks, to stakeholders and leadership, providing actionable insights to mitigate risks and improve project outcomes. • Execute key QA activities, such as analyzing requirements to ensure completeness and clarity, creating comprehensive test plans and designs, setting up and managing test environments, executing tests to validate functionality, tracking defects to resolution, and producing detailed test reports to inform decision-making and maintain transparency throughout the QA process. • Perform other duties as assigned. Skills and Qualifications: • Strong technical analysis skills for troubleshooting issues in highly complex architectural environments • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook) • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices • Ability to maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures • Must have strong organizational skills and demonstrate clear attention to detail Work/Education Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in a related field. (Required) • 5+ years of experience aligning IT systems with organizational business processes. 3 years of that experience must have been in a lead capacity. • 5+ years performing System Testing Lifecycle Testing. • 2+ years of ITIL experience. • Project Management Professional (PMP) (Required) • CSM and/or CSPO Certification (Required) • CBAP or Software Tester Certification (Required) • Current certification in Lean Six Sigma. (Preferred)

Compensation

Range: $58,000 – $88,000 The salary range for this role may vary depending on the specific geographic location where this position is ultimately filled. Several factors, including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, certifications, pay equity, and organizational needs, are considered when determining the posted salary range. In addition, eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package. Must be able to provide proof of education for all mandatory qualifications; all references will be verified.
