Programmer Analyst

Job Opportunity – Programmer Analyst with VEGA Americas in Mason, OH, 45036 The Programmer Analyst will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance web applications across both front-end and back-end systems. This role involves working with modern programming languages, frameworks, and databases while ensuring the security, efficiency, and reliability of applications. Strong expertise in SQL programming and reporting solutions is required for managing and analyzing data effectively. Key Responsibilities • Server installation, configuration, database design, migration, security, troubleshooting, synchronization, backup, and data recovery. • Write SQL server scripts to process data automatically and manage SQL server jobs. • Consult with clients to gather information about program needs, objectives, functions, features, and input and output requirements. • Analyze, define, and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, and outputs. • Write and maintain technical specifications. • Analyze and estimate feasibility, costs, time, and compatibility with hardware and other programs. • Develop and maintain plans outlining steps and timetables for developing programs. • Research and evaluate software and hardware to assist in programming or to use as program platforms. • Design and code screen layouts, graphical user interfaces, printed outputs, and interfaces with other systems. • Convert designs and specifications into computer code. • Compile code into programs and correct errors detected in the compile process. • Create test transactions and run tests to find errors and confirm programs meet specifications. • Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs. • Consult with clients to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs. • Write and maintain documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections. • Write documentation or review documentation written by others that describes the installation and operating procedures. • Provide technical assistance by responding to inquiries from others regarding errors, problems, or questions about programs. • Train end users or technical support staff to use programs. • Install and test programs at the client site. • Monitor the performance of programs after implementation. Requirements • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in related field • AND four to seven years related experience and/or training, • OR equivalent combination of education and experience. • Knowledge/Experience in Angular, ASP.NET and C# is preferred VEGA Americas manufactures, distributes, and services process instrumentation to measure level, density, weight, and pressure.
