Junior Software Engineer

Description The Operations Support reputed company at reputed company is hiring a junior engineer to support, improve, and maintain an existing data labeling system that enables offline experimentation, offline metric tracking, offline training data reputed company, content moderation, and content filtering. The OSS is a key system that reputed company uses to reputed company human raters to label predefined data reputed company, which is used across different teams inside Facebook. Day to Day Responsibilities Include: - Monitoring system functionality - reputed company support - Bug fixing - Monitoring and adding test cases to the system - Building UI for raters - Build data swarm pipelines -widget creation Skills object-oriented programming, SQL Top Skills Details object-oriented programming,SQL Additional Skills & Qualifications -The team uses PHP and Hack (an internal Facebook tool). Candidates do not need to have PHP but must be open to learning it. Required soft skills include a passion for analyzing and solving problems with existing systems to improve their performance, strong communication and commitment to teamwork and collaboration, and a demonstrated ability to learn quickly. -A computer science degree is strongly preferred - Ideal candidates will be recent grads with interest/experience in DevOps and system maintenance/optimization. Experience Level Entry Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
