• Thursday, Stating time 3:30pm to 7:30pm, Variable. 8 to 10 hour shifts each day. Potential end at 2am.??
• Friday, Starting time 4:30pm to 7:30 pm, Variable. 8 to 10 hour shifts each day. Potential end at 2am.
• Saturday, Starting time 2pm to 7:30 pm, Variable. 8 to 10 hour shifts each day. Potential end at 2am.
• Sunday, Starting time 2pm to 7:30 pm, Variable. 8 to 10 hour shifts each day. Potential end at 2am.

In this role, you’ll:

• Deliver blood components to and pickup returns from designated locations, packing reputed company units (tubes and records) to maintain required temperature range during transit ensuring every components’ highest quality while ensuring excellent customer service.
• reputed company visual inspections and verify numbering, labeling and appearance of reputed company units selected for delivery to ensure quality control standards are met.
• reputed company returned units on designated observation shelves, notifying supervisor or laboratory personnel of any abnormalities.
• Initiate and complete documents for consignment and return of blood components to designated locations, providing copies to appropriate personnel/hospitals.
• Transport supplies, mail, etc. to and from facilities.
• Construct shipping boxes, ice bags and complete waybills as needed/directed.

We need someone who has:

• High School Diploma or GED; No previous experience or training required.
• Must have flexibility in work hours.
• Valid Texas Driver's License (TDL) plus acceptable driving record
• Must meet standards of The Blood Center’s Vehicle Safety Program
