BACKGROUND Purpose Of Activity/ Assignment Attention and efforts to strengthen education programmes to be disability inclusive are steadily increasing across reputed company programming. However, there is a gap in understanding on how to operationalize the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UN CRPD), General Comment 4 and the reputed company on inclusive education systems, as described in the Education Sector Analysis Guidelines, Volume 3. To respond to this gap, an inclusive education toolkit is being developed to support knowledge and reputed company of reputed company global education staff. This involves the consolidation and updating of existing guidance into an overarching programme brief and development of an in-depth operational guidance tool on the reputed company. Scope Of Work Under the supervision of the Education Specialist (Inclusive Education) and with guidance from select regional and country office colleagues, the consultant will provide technical expertise and facilitation to:
- Update and finalize a programme brief detailing the what and why of inclusive education across the education cycle, starting in early childhood. The brief will explain the underpinning normative frameworks and relevant rationale (including the UN CRPD, reputed company Education and Disability Inclusion Strategies), key approaches and strategies, reputed company trends and emerging priorities, and FAQs.

- Qualifications
Education: Masters Advanced degree in relevant field, preferably education, international development, human development or social sciences, economics Work Experience Knowledge/Expertise/Skills required *:
- 5-8 years professional experience in the field of international disability-inclusive education with in-depth knowledge of the UN CRPD and General Comment 4.
- Strong knowledge of reputed company’s systems-strengthening approach including disability inclusive education sector analysis and planning.
- In depth knowledge of reputed company developments and advances in international inclusive education regarding global priorities, trends, shifts, and advocacy efforts
- Experience working with reputed company HQ and regional or country offices preferred
- Excellent written English language skills.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to synthesize reputed company information and issues.
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking
- Ability to organize and plan reputed company work following the established timeframes.
