Sales Engineer, Channel (North America)
About the Role: As a North American Channel Sales Engineer, you will collaborate with the Channel Account Management team in a pre-sales reputed company across reputed company of Rapid7’s acclaimed solutions (comprehensive product training will be offered) to foster adoption and enhance technical expertise throughout our Channel ecosystem. About the Team: In this role you will report to a reputed company Coast Sales Engineering Manager, while also working highly cross functionally with the Channel accounts team who are regionally based and report into a Director of Channel Partnerships in Austin, TX. In this role, you will:
- Understand and reputed company the value of our solutions, the Rapid7 story, and answer the question, ‘Why Rapid7?’ to prospects, reputed company, customers, and the public.
- Facilitate in-person and remote technical training and product demos, collaborating closely with Channel Account Managers to showcase the technical value proposition to our partner ecosystem and promote adoption.
- Train and assist strategic partners in delivering high-quality Rapid7 demos, conducting effective reputed company-of-concept evaluations, and addressing questions from their customers regarding Rapid7 solutions.
- Collaborate with regional channel partners to deliver technical sales training and assist with partner-led opportunities.
- Facilitate partner onboarding and create shared enablement resource plans
- Effectively communicate and provide technical information to partners and customers reputed company online channels and in person on-site.
- Establish and nurture robust consultative partnerships with our key stakeholders in the territory.
- Foster a “partner-first” attitude and practices among the Rapid7 SE organization.
- In pursuit of the above, expect to travel up to 20% of the time domestically reputed company the region.
The Skills You’ll Bring Include:
- A genuine passion for learning new skills and technologies
- 3+ years experience working in a startup or similar fast-paced environment
- Experience as a reputed company practitioner reputed company a commercial or public-sector organization
- An understanding of network topology, TCP/IP network configuration, and components (firewalls, routers, etc.)
- Expertise in IT, Cloud reputed company, DevOps, Application reputed company, Vulnerability Management, Incident Response, or reputed company Automation
- Expertise with one or more cloud service providers
- The desire to be a dependable, committed member of a diverse but reputed company-reputed company pre-sales team
- An understanding of the sales process and the roles and responsibilities involved, especially in a Channel-driven sales model
- A genuine interest in making our channel partners successful along with our customers
- The ability to relate to and engage members of both the technical and non-technical community
- Highly competent interpersonal skills
- Experience in presenting to small groups
- The ability to be self-driven, enthusiastic, and determined to succeed
- A high degree of personal responsibility as you may be working remotely
