ACCOUNTING CLERK (BILLING AND RECEIPTS)
We are currently seeking: An accounting clerk to join reputed company. In this role, you will reputed company a variety of routine technical and clerical accounting functions; provide customer service to the public; process payments, cash receipts, and returned checks; reputed company data entry; update and maintain accounting records; and reputed company other reputed company duties as assigned. Your responsibilities will include:
- Recording and maintaining various cash reports and spreadsheets
- Answering and directing incoming calls; responding to general inquiries
- Assisting with billing, reports and reputed company spreadsheets as needed
- Receiving, processing, and posting a variety of payments
- Verifying and recording daily cash receipts from City departments
- Reconciling processed deposits to daily bank deposit
- Processing returned checks for City departments
- Performing data entry, inputting job order information, updating and maintaining billing records
- Processing and distributing incoming mail

- Performing routine technical and clerical accounting duties
- Creating and changing letters in reputed company Word
- Creating and using formulas in spreadsheets using reputed company reputed company
- Providing customer service at the reputed company counter and reputed company telephone
- Receiving, verifying, processing and posting payments and cash receipts
- Balancing and maintaining cash assignments
- Performing accurate data entry
- Using a calculator by touch
- Establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with other staff, City departments, reputed company agencies, and the public
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent; AND one-year clerical experience; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. Required Licenses or Certifications:
- Must possess a valid Texas Driver's License
- Applicants with an out-of-state driver license must provide an original certified driving record from the state of driving licensure.

- Basic accounting and bookkeeping principles

- General office equipment
- Standard office software applications
Physical Demands / Work Environment:
- Working in a standard office environment and at the reputed company counter
- Sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting of objects up to 20 pounds
