Summary GE Vernova’s Power Conversion business provides electrification systems that are critical to customers’ power and energy needs for their high-performance applications. We work with some of the world’s major energy, maritime and industrial organizations, helping to enable a transition to energy efficiency and decarbonization, including through our specialist motors, drives and control technologies. The Services Account Manager Assistant – General Industry segment is responsible for executing, planning and providing administrative support of service projects with low to moderate complexity. In this role, you will meet day-to-day short-term objectives and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning. You will report to the General Industry Services Accounts Leader and support one or more service orders and service account managers in various phases of service order execution across the industrial portfolio.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities As the Services Account Manager Assistant you will

  • Independently coordinate engineering/field service resources to support services activities
  • Collaborate with Project Manager(s) AND/OR Service Managers to coordinate contract execution
  • Oversee or support daily site activities at customer site during planned or emergency outages
  • Provide planning services to assist teams with equipment and engineering deliverable issues
  • Interface with various functions within GE and with customers to monitor status of the service and ensure timely execution of contract requirements and deliverables (such as documentation and deliverables tracking, procurement and material tracking, customer/supplier invoice submission and issues resolution)
  • Track, compile, and report financial performance across services including cost/labor reports, monitor billing and revenue milestones, identify and track risks/opportunities
  • Help solve customer issues by driving resolutions and tracking progress
  • Support relevant and data-driven schedules per customer requirements and develop reports to maximize critical path visibility to the project team while focusing on overall On-Time Delivery
  • Be a self-motivated team player who can drive cross-functional teams and communicate the results effectively to customers

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with 6 years of experience (or a high school diploma / GED with 10 years of experience)
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in Services, Sales & Customer Contract Management
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 30% of the time

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience in a customer facing Service Delivery or Project Management position, within a Service environment.
  • Proven Industry, Metals or Oil & Gas experience, with technical knowledge in power generation, metals, mining, plastics processes.
  • Proven track record of maintaining long-term relationships with clients, delivering service offerings and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail on financial tracking and reporting of services.
  • Embracing ownership & accountability that drive customer solutions and services profitability.
