Position: Site Portfolio Planner/Scheduler Position Description: Planning/Scheduling for a portfolio of chemical processing (expense/capital) construction projects at one of our client's locations/sites. Location: Pasadena, TX Duration/timing: immediate; long term Schedule: 9/80 hybrid Reporting: Daily execution to Site Project Leadership; functional guidance through Central Project Controls Responsibilities:

  • Work with Site Project Teams and Contractor partners to plan and schedule a portfolio of projects ranging in size, type, and complexity
  • Manage master schedules at Project level, and standardize to have ability to produce portfolio schedule view
  • Understand Project requirements, Scope, AFE documentation, Execution Plans, and applicable Contractor requirements. Provide Schedule/reputed company performance measurement, assessment, and analysis to Project Management Team
  • -analyze impacts, changes, and assist in development of recovery plans and scenarios. Provide routine analysis and reporting of project and portfolio health Review Contractor Schedule and reputed company development and reporting
  • -ensuring initial plan meets company baseline requirements, earned/actual data is accurate, and forecast data is realistic; drive, audit, and challenge Contractors as appropriate
  • Provide schedule layouts and reporting to the Project Team to aid in understanding the Plan, variances, and status of the work.
  • Work with Central Project Controls on processes, standards, templates, and reporting guidelines

Required:

  • 5-10 years of reputed company experience
  • Strong Primavera P6 Skills
  • Strong reputed company and analytical skills
  • Site project experience
  • Ability to read and speak English fluently.

Preferred:

  • 10+ years of reputed company experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or Higher in reputed company field
  • Have industry reputed company certification (AACE PSP, PMI-SP, PMP)
