Responsibilities

Job Summary Transports patients and materials throughout reputed company hospital areas. Ensures that reputed company customer service standards and quality standards are met for communication with patients, staff and public. • Transports patients by wheelchair, stretcher, bed or chair and non-patient moves to and from designated areas or departments. Communicates appropriately with patient and other members of care team. Introduces him or herself, verifies patient identity and informs the patient of their destination. Sanitizes equipment following established protocols. Immediately reports any equipment malfunctions and removes the items from service. • Utilizes Electronic Medical Record system(s) consistently for safe and efficient transport of patients.
