Extreme Networks is seeking a intern to support the Service sales team. This team is responsible for driving new business, as well as building and maintaining customer loyalty across Extreme’s customer base. As a member of the team, the intern will interact with various cross-functional teams, including operations, marketing, and channels to help drive our go-to-market strategy and support some of our top initiatives.
Position Responsibilities
•
Assistance in a technical lab with Server & Switch management, cable routing, assembly of racking equipment, and basic connectivity•
Updating of equipment inventory, replacement, and shipment as needed•
IT support if needed to best facilitate the lab or office area•
Working with data and reports to summarize information needed for customer presentations or decision making•
Analyze customer inventory reports to understand any opportunity for additional service coverage•
Basic computer programming scriptsRequirements (Intern Level)
•
Networking, Engineering, or Computer focused students interested in getting experience and exposure to the world of Service Delivery•
Skilled at using Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)•
Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently with some direction.•
Eagerness to learn and grow in a sales environment.•
Curiosity to understand what’s needed to provide technical support services, build stronger customer relationships, and implement Extreme Solutions to customers•
Excellent time management, communication and organizational skills•
Willingness to adapt to changing work environments/people/process/tools*This is a 40 hour per week during the Summer Break on site at our Reading, UK Office
