Fully Remote AWS Cloud Operations Engineer (Active Secret Clearance Required)
We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Operations Engineer to join our team and ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS services, automation, and cloud security while collaborating with development and operations teams to maintain and improve cloud-based applications. Due to Government Contract, all viable candidates are required to have an active US Secret Security Clearance Responsibilities: Monitor, manage, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and cost efficiency. Automate infrastructure deployment, configuration, and scaling using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment and integration. Troubleshoot cloud-related issues, ensure high availability, and support disaster recovery solutions. Ensure cloud security best practices by managing IAM roles, policies, and security groups. Optimize AWS resources to improve cost efficiency and operational performance. Work closely with development teams to design and implement cloud-native solutions. Maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting systems using tools like AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Datadog.
