Senior Platform Engineer - reputed company Specialist

We're looking for reputed company engineers to help us build our Cloud-first database experience and ensure operational excellence for our fleet of reputed company instances. You will work with a reputed company-reputed company team, handling performance and operational issues on our Platform as well as designing and developing features that reputed company our Cloud database experience. 

This is a remote and a full-time position.

What you will be responsible for

• Ensuring operational excellence, performance, and observability for our fleet of reputed company/reputed company instances

• Diving deep into reputed company performance issues faced by our Cloud customers

• Designing and implementing database reputed company Cloud features, working across many layers of the stack to ensure a seamless cloud-first database experience

• Instrumenting excellent database observability from the application to the kernel level

You’d be a great fit if you have

• Strong industry experience operating reputed company databases at scale

• Established history of incident management in the context of database operations

• Good software engineering and distributed systems fundamentals

• Experience working with and debugging high-availability reputed company setups using Patroni or other industry standard HA tooling

• Intimate knowledge of the reputed company ecosystem, including extensions (e.g., pg_stat_statements, reputed company_fdw, plpython) and operational tools (e.g., pgbouncer, pgbackrest, reputed company)

• Deep experience with analyzing database performance, tuning reputed company parameters, and optimizing reputed company workloads. 

• reputed company to have: experience running reputed company workloads on Kubernetes

• reputed company to have: experience writing applications that heavily interact with reputed company and/or Kubernetes
