Remote Data Center Engineer

CSI Companies is hiring for Remote Data Center Engineer for our client, a leading Global audit, tax, and consulting firm. Hours: Monday ? Friday; 40 hours/week, standard business hours Location: Remote Pay: $70-100/hour based on experience Position Type: Consultant Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Engineer Consultant with expertise in customer data platforms (CDPs) such as AEP, Treasure Data, Amplitude, and experience with the Adobe MarTech stack. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in data engineering, with experience in AWS or Alteryx, proficiency in Python, and familiarity with data processing. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and supporting a high-performance data infrastructure. you will collaborate with internal teams and support business initiatives while ensuring the integrity, security, and performance of customer data platforms. Job Responsibilities: ? Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines to ingest, process, and store large volumes of customer data from various sources. ? Implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability. ? Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance data operations efficiency. ? Assist in integrating customer data from diverse sources into the customer data platform (CDP). ? Provide consulting on building robust data infrastructure to support the customer data platform, ensuring high availability and performance. ? Recommend optimization strategies for source/target data models and schemas to support analytics and reporting needs. ? Assist in the identification of data governance and security measures to protect sensitive customer information. ? Help establish and enforce data quality standards and best practices. ? Collaborate on the development and maintenance of data validation and monitoring frameworks to detect and resolve data issues proactively. ? Perform data audits and design corrective actions to maintain data integrity. ? Ensure data pipelines and systems are scalable and aligned with quality standards. ? Participate in code reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives. ? Work closely with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and assist with data onboarding and platform integration. ? Provide guidance and expertise in data platform best practices and troubleshooting. ? Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data processes, workflows, and systems. ? Develop and deliver regular reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and data platform metrics. ? Ensure clear and organized documentation for data integration and platform processes. Qualifications: ? 4-7 years of experience in data engineering or related roles. ? Hands-on experience with customer data platforms (CDPs), such as AEP (Adobe Experience Platform), Treasure Data, or Amplitude. ? Strong familiarity with Adobe MarTech stack (Experience Cloud, Analytics, Target, etc.). ? Solid experience with AWS or Alteryx for cloud-based data infrastructure and workflows. ? Strong experience with Python and familiarity with data processing and automation in Python. ? Expertise in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data pipeline development. ? Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and big data technologies. ? Familiarity with data governance, security practices, and compliance standards. ? Experience working with SQL and other relevant data query languages. ? Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and support business requirements. ? Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and handle complex data projects. ? Ability to translate technical requirements into actionable solutions and communicate those clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: ? Experience with data automation, particularly related to customer data platforms and marketing technologies. ? Knowledge of data quality frameworks and experience implementing them in a cloud-based environment. ? Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for data engineering and platform management.
