Field Trainer Applications Specialist

job summary: Our client, a leading Laser Machine manufacturing company is seeking a Field Technical Trainer to conduct internal and/or external training courses for customers, or company personnel. Required: - 2 years of CAD experience ( CATIA, Solidworks, etc) - 3 years of machine set-up, maintenance and programming - CAD/CAM programming Travel Required: 90% to client Sites- Monday- Friday. Over time!!! Must be local to Detroit and Novi. Client is open to candidates in Northern Ohio, and Northeast Indiana areas. location: Novi, Michigan job type: Permanent salary: $52,000 - 72,800 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: High School responsibilities: ? Conducts training courses for customers and personnel on: ? Operation and maintenance of laser systems ? Use of the Elements Software suite ? Other relevant topic areas ? Assists in developing and improving training programs, including outlines, guides, and procedures. ? Supports testing of new machine and software features for incorporation into training and field service operations. ? Helps develop documentation for customers and personnel to enhance their understanding and proper use of products. ? Requires ability to travel domestically and internationally. ? Provides technical counsel and solutions to specific technical issues/service tickets for customers. ? Understands technical issues sufficiently to make recommendations or refer to subject experts. ?
