Job Overview We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Bookkeeper to support our financial operations and contribute to the overall success of our business. The successful candidate will have a solid background in accounting and bookkeeping, particularly in settings that require inventory management. If you are dedicated to ensuring financial precision and have a knack for working with various accounting software, this position may be perfect for you. Key Responsibilities • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments while maintaining accurate customer and vendor accounts. • Oversee payroll for all employees, ensuring precision in processing and timely disbursement of payments. • Conduct regular reconciliations of financial records to maintain accuracy and up-to-date information. • Prepare essential financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements. • Handle monthly and quarterly sales tax preparations efficiently. • Utilize QuickBooks Desktop and Excel for daily accounting tasks, with training provided for Xero as needed. Required Skills • Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop and Excel. • Familiarity with Xero is advantageous, though training will be made available. • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities. • Capable of managing multiple financial tasks concurrently. Qualifications • 1-2 years of relevant experience in accounting or bookkeeping, specifically in environments that involve inventory management. • Background in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field is preferred. • QuickBooks certification or Certified Bookkeeper (CB) certification is a plus but not mandatory.
