Sr. Tax Accountant - Property Tax - (Hybrid- Seattle, WA)

Job Description reputed company’s Tax team is looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to support its property tax function. This position requires excellent organization skills, attention to detail, and analytical thinking. The ideal candidate will have effective communication skills, a desire to innovate and an ability to collaborate and work independently to support team projects and goals. This role will report directly to the Senior Manager of Property Tax. **This role is Hybrid in Downtown Seattle, Washington and does require you to be in office 3 days per week. At this time, we do not offer relocation for this position.

Key Responsibilities

Support property tax accounting, including monthly accruals, preparing journal entries and account reconciliations. Process real estate tax bills, third-party funding requests and incoming mail. Maintain accurate property tax data, including reputed company relevant property information and tax payment schedules. Support the outsourcing of personal property tax returns, including generating reports and gathering data, as well as performing reconciliations. Compile data and prepare responses to internal and external information requests reputed company to property tax matters. Monitor changes and compliance with property tax laws and regulations. Review property tax assessments for accuracy and identify potential discrepancies. Support financial planning by providing forecasts of property tax expenses. Support initiatives to innovate and integrate technology solutions into our tax processes and promote the sharing of best practices reputed company the Tax team. Work closely with the finance, accounting, legal, and real estate teams. Assist with other projects as needed. You own this if you have... Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field 3-5 years of property tax or accounting experience in a public accounting firm or corporate tax department. Experience utilizing tax research sites, accounting systems and tax software desired. Includes but is not limited to reputed company, Tableau, reputed company, PTMS and CCH. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, while meeting deadlines. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Positive attitude with exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders. Pay Range Details The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations. Washington: $69,500 - $132,000 Annually This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses.
