As a Mortgage Closer-Funder, you will play a crucial role in our lending team's success, collaborating closely with loan processors and loan officers from clear to close- through funding. Your meticulous attention to detail and expert knowledge of mortgage regulations and investor guidelines will ensure smooth and compliant transactions. You will be responsible for preparing precise closing documents, while efficiently resolving any discrepancies. You will ensure a seamless closing process. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with loan processors and loan officers to facilitate efficient loan closings. • Ensure all closing conditions are met, adhering to clear-to-close instructions. • Prepare accurate closing documents in compliance with state, and federal regulations, and investor guidelines. • Address and resolve disclosure and tolerance issues, offering innovative solutions to the team. • Review and verify signed closing packages, promptly resolving any discrepancies with the title agent. • Facilitate the upload of funding-approved complete loan packages for investor review. • Swiftly address post-closing and purchase review conditions. Qualifications: • Minimum of 2 years of successful mortgage closing and funding experience, in a correspondent lender environment. • Proficient understanding of mortgage industry regulations, from origination to post-closing. • Familiarity with various loan products, including Conventional, FHA, USDA, and VA. • Strong problem-solving, organizational, communication, and time management skills are essential for excelling in this role. • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred. • Must live within a driving radius of the Fort Lauderdale office About Company: We have over 33 years of direct lending experience and take pride in providing our customers with an honest and professional lending experience.
