About the position BlackRock's Event Driven team is at the forefront of managing a suite of event-driven funds tailored for both institutional and retail clients. This team oversees three distinct funds: a Cayman Hedge Fund, a UCITS fund, and a 1940 Act mutual fund. The investment strategy is centered around catalyst-driven situations, which encompass a variety of scenarios such as announced mergers and acquisitions, spin-offs, management changes, financial and strategic restructurings, synergistic acquisitions, and collaborative activism. The Event Driven team is currently seeking an Associate to bolster the research and investment processes. This role is pivotal in performing deep modeling, conducting reputed company analysis, and engaging in thorough research for event-driven investments.
