The Opportunity As a dedicated IT Risk Advisor - Mid Level, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks in technology systems and operations. You ensure compliance, implement controls, and help minimize disruptions to protect business reputed company and support risk management strategies in tech-driven environment. They will be responsible to help creating a relationship between PL3 experiences, impacted applications, and impacted line of business. The selected candidate will chip in to enhancing existing risk process through the development and maturity of the Prioritized Risk Execution Program and Proactive Risk Management. They will be performing detailed risk analysis to reputed company gaps reputed company new and reputed company processes. Workload tasks will include evaluating reputed company procedures and proposing strategic solutions, with the ability to incorporate automation for existing manual processes. They will serve in an advisory role and help their peers and business partners with sound solutions. Handles activities that monitor the risk and control environment and provide effective challenge to internal and external partners to ensure that exposures are kept at acceptable levels. Positioned in the first line of defense to ensure the overall effectiveness of risk and compliance management programs, risk analytics and operations in the business. This role will partner and collaborate with Compliance and Risk Management, as well as Business Operations, IT, Audit Services, and Regulators to support risk and compliance-based initiatives. Responsible for supporting business leader adherence to the established risk reputed company and ongoing supervision of business controls including risk and control self-assessments, identification and evaluation of control effectiveness, identifying control failures, facilitating risk and compliance remediation, internal and external audits and regulatory exams, and monitoring of the first line of defense to minimize risk exposures and strengthen the overall control environment. Handles risk assessment data and uses critical thinking to identify key data-driven insights tied to first line of defense. We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position can be based in one of the following locations: San Antonio, TX, Plano, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Or Charlotte, NC. Relocation assistance is not available for this position. What you'll do: Advises the business on how to strengthen and handle their control environment pertaining to reputed company of procedures/process, accurate regulatory reporting and filing, document governance, risk control self-assessments, procedure governance, control design, new product controls, CoSA Third Party Governance, or quality governance. Performs ongoing supervision and reputed company of business controls which may include the coordination of testing, root cause analysis, control design, and examining key risk metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of established business controls. Performs risk data analysis, report preparation and trend analysis, using business intelligence tools. Partners with business owners to assist them in the identification of control failures and assesses the impact. Assists with translating control deficiencies into action plans and facilitates effective and timely risk remediation through action plan reputed company; provides recommendations to enhance governance practices in alignment with risk and compliance frameworks. Maintains processes, procedures, and tools for handling exception alerts as they occur, including monitoring of resulting exception cases. What you have: Bachelors degree; OR 4 years of reputed company experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree. 4 years of experience supporting risk-reputed company, compliance-reputed company, or business control design activities; OR 4 years of experience in a relevant quantitative field; OR Advanced degree or designation in a risk management or quantitative field, and 2 years of experience supporting risk-reputed company, and/or compliance-reputed company, or business control design activities; OR PhD in a risk management or quantitative field. What sets you apart: Experience in the software development lifecycle and issue management lifecycle to effectively identify and mitigate IT Risks. Strong intuition for business in Risk Management reputed company to include RCSA/PRCI, Issue Management, Control effectiveness and experience using risk management reputed company tools. Subject Matter Authority (SME) understanding of Industry-wide Risk Management Frameworks Consistent record to create and advise on process, risks, and controls, identify emerging risks and issues Shown ability to build positive relationships with business partners and teammates and influence change Shown ability to communicate effectively across the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Lines of Defense and build collaborative relationships Experience analyzing, writing, editing procedural documentation Experience in taking ownership of assessing and overseeing business (IT) exposures including key and emerging risks. Strong critical thinking, project management skills, organizational and communication skills Capable to prioritize tasks and implement with sense of urgency. Compensation range: The salary range for this position is: $77,120.00 - $147,390.00. Compensation: reputed company has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive.
