Responsibilities Plans, controls and coordinates claims activity and workflow reputed company claims unit/department in order to maintain the highest professional customer service and technical standards, and to ensure work is produced in a timely fashion and that reputed company deadlines are met, including ensuring timely and appropriate settlement, and maintaining acceptable closing ratios. Maintains override capability, authorizes settlements up to designated authority limits, and submits recommendations to designated officials for those claims in excess of authority level. Qualifications 10+ years claims experience in the Property & Casualty Industry. 7+ years claims management experience. Multi-jurisdictional understanding of legal issues. The actual reputed company salary is based on geographic location, and the range is representative of salaries for this role throughout Selective's footprint.
